We have gone through the Good Housekeeping.  testing and have earned their 2 year money back guarantee for over 35 years in a row. The Ecowater Refiner has also earned these other agency seals:2 ISO9001  Gold Seals of Approval from the Water Quality Association  plumbing seals as well. How do I bypass my units if they are leaking?

Answer: Not all units are installed with a 3 ball valve bypass, but almost all filtration manufacturers equip their units with its own bypass. Many of these are a push valve style, lever style, or a disc rotation style bypass. Please consult the installer of the unit for instructions for the unit they installed.

Salt free water softeners

Water Related Pseudoscience

“Magnets and “catalysts” for softening water, magnetic laundry balls, waters that are “oxygenated”, “clustered”, “ionized” or “vitalized” (purporting to improve cellular hydration, remove toxins, and repair DNA), high zeta-potential colloids and vortex-treated waters to raise your energy levels, halt or reverse ageing and prevent cancer — all of these wonders and more are being aggressively marketed via the Internet, radio infomercials, seminars, and by various purveyors of new-age nonsense. The hucksters who promote these largely worthless products weave a web of pseudoscientific hype guaranteed to dazzle and confuse the large segment of the public whose limited understanding of science makes them especially vulnerable to this kind of exploitation.

The purpose of this site is to examine the credibility of these claims from the standpoint of our present-day understanding of science. The latter, of course, is always evolving and is never complete, but it makes an excellent “B.S. filter” that is almost always reliable. It is hoped that the information presented here will help consumers make more informed decisions before offering up their credit cards to those in the business of flogging pseudoscience.”

Magnetic & Catalytic Water Softeners

Many companies are the purveyors of “salt-free” water softeners. Over the years there has been an on-going controversy as to whether or not these systems actually function to soften or improve water quality.  There has been no available testing or validation to evaluate and protect the consumer from being taken advantage of.Our company does not recommend this equipment , however you might take a look at our available water treatment products. All of out EcoWater products have third party validations and have been tested and certified.
